Job Summary

• We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Cashier to join our team in Abuja.
• The successful candidate will be responsible for handling cash transactions, operating a point-of-sale system, and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate a point-of-sale system and process cash transactions accurately and efficiently
• Handle cash, credit card transactions, and mobile payments
• Maintain a cash float and reconcile cash transactions at the end of each shift
• Provide excellent customer service and respond to customer inquiries
• Work effectively as part of a team to achieve sales goals and targets
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including the cash register and surrounding area
• Monitor and report any discrepancies or errors in cash transactions
• Collaborate with colleagues to achieve sales goals and targets

Requirements

• Secondary School Diploma or equivalent
• 3 years of experience as a Cashier or in a related role
• Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet sales targets
• Proficient in operating a point-of-sale system
• Strong attention to detail and ability to reconcile cash transactions
• Team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
