African Natural Resources & Mines Limited (ANRML) was incorporated in 2012 as part of African Industries Group’s plan to embark on backward integration for its steel production. ANRML started its foray into mining with the acquisition of a mining lease in Kaduna State. Subsequently, ANRML has also acquired multiple mining and exploration licenses for various minerals at over 15 sites, and exploration activities are being carried out.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Planning Engineer (Plant)

Location: Gujeni, Kaduna
Employment Type: Full-time

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Must ensure timely availability of spares
  • Analyze data entry of mechanical maintenance in Navision daily
  • Maintain reorder/min and max levels of item
  • Handling internal and external audits
  • Maintain audit data and reports
  • Coordinate with the center store for quarterly, half-yearly, or annual audit of store activities
  • Physical verification of inventories on requirement basis
  • Physical and Navision stock reconciliation and MIS
  • MIS reports for mechanical maintenance through Navision
  • Data analysis for equipment availability
  • Ensure timely replenishment of spares and material through proper use of an inventory system in order to support maintenance.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • A minimum of a Bachelor's in Engineering (B. Eng) is required..
  • 3 - 5 years of experience as a planning engineer is required.
  • Good technical knowledge
  • Good data analysis and presentation skills
  • Inventory management skills
  • ERP Navision experience
  • Advance excel knowledge
  • Communication skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and stress
  • Detail orientation
  • Positive approach and commitment towards work.
  • Should have expertise in analyzing technical drawings and providing material and cost estimates.
  • Should have experience in inventory management and spares indigenous development and management.
