Bursar at the Jigawa State Institute of Information Technology (Informatics), Kazaure

The Jigawa State Institute of Information Technology, Kazaure was established by Jigawa State in the year 2000 under the license of Informatics Academy, Singapore, with a view to train and produce IT graduates that would reposition the State and Nigeria as a whole in the scheme of affairs. The institute provides every platform for the students to acquire innovative IT skills that give them more cutting edges among peers.

Since its inception, the Institute has grown to become Nigeria’s flagship, IT-led Institute, known for the excellence of its IT-teaching, IT-training and its IT-services to local, national and international organizations. What remains is for the students and other trainers to be diligent and focused as they join the IT-bandwagon, so as to reap the benefits, individually and or collectively for the overall societal development.

Qualifications / Experiences
The candidate seeking for the post should possess the following qualifications:

• A good Honors Degree in Accounting with 15 years cognate experience plus registration with a recognized Professional Accounting body or,
• A holder of Masters Degree in Accounting from a recognized University with at least 12 years post qualification experience and registration with a professional Accounting body ar
• A holder of Doctorate Degree in field of Accounting with at least 9 years post qualification cognate experience plus registration with a recognized Professional Accounting body.
• In addition, a candidate must be computer literate.

Terms of Appointment / Conditions of Service

• The appointment is for an initial term of four (4) years and renewable for another term of four years only and no more.
• The salary is consolidated as applied to Jigawa State Tertiary Institutions.
