Role Overview

• As an Accountant at Captain Cook Limited, you play a pivotal role in driving the financial health of our operations.
• You'll collaborate closely with our finance team, ensuring precise financial records, compliance with regulations, and efficient processes to contribute to our business success.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of financial statements, reports, and analyses.
• Perform general accounting duties such as data entry, reconciling accounts, and maintaining accurate records.
• Managing accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Coordinating daily accounting activities of the business
• Conduct bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow.
• Prepare and process invoices, expense reports, and other financial documents.
• Generate concise monthly reports comparing revenue to budgets for informed decision-making.
• Oversee payroll preparation and administration with precision.
• Leverage accounting software to maintain accurate financial records.
• Partner with internal teams to streamline operations and enhance profitability
• Preparation of tax returns and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
• Provide support for budget preparation and financial planning activities.

Qualifications

• Recent graduate with a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Familiarity with accounting software is an added advantage.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• High level of integrity and professionalism.
