Recruitment Officer at African Natural Resources & Mines Limited (ANRML)

African Natural Resources & Mines Limited (ANRML) was incorporated in 2012 as part of African Industries Group’s plan to embark on backward integration for its steel production. ANRML started its foray into mining with the acquisition of a mining lease in Kaduna State. Subsequently, ANRML has also acquired multiple mining and exploration licenses for various minerals at over 15 sites, and exploration activities are being carried out.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Recruitment Officer

Location: Gujeni, Kaduna
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop recruitment strategies tailored to the steel manufacturing industry.
• Utilize various recruitment methods, including job boards, social media, networking events, and industry-specific channels, to attract qualified candidates.
• Screen resumes, conduct interviews, and assess candidates' qualifications, skills, and cultural fit for the organization.
• Coordinate and facilitate the interview process, including scheduling interviews, collecting feedback from hiring managers, and communicating with candidates.
• Understanding of employment laws and regulations, particularly those relevant to recruitment and selection.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 5+ years relevant work experience.
• Proven experience as a recruitment professional with a track record of success in sourcing and hiring top talent.
• Strong leadership and mentoring skills, with the ability to motivate and develop junior team members.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a client-focused mindset.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
• Extensive experience using Excel and applicant tracking system (ATS)
• You must reside close to the job location or be ready to relocate.
