Job Title: Fleet Supervisor

Locations: Asaba, Delta and Ibadan, Oyo State

Job Description

• As a Fleet Supervisor, your job role ensures all transport needs are met, vehicles are well-maintained, drivers are trained, travel routes are regularly assessed/updated in coordination with the security department, and any operational gaps are addressed in a timely manner.

Responsibilities

• Manage the Drivers so they adhere to strict schedules.
• Developing strategies for greater fuel efficiency.
• Maintaining detailed records of vehicle servicing and inspection.
• Complying with the Federal and State Ministry of Transport laws and regulations on all trips.
• Scheduling regular vehicle maintenance to ensure operational efficiency.
• Ensuring strict servicing and maintenance times to minimize downtime and maintain schedules.
• Monitoring driver behavior and ensuring a high level of customer service.
• Analyzing data to increase business operational efficiency.
• Utilizing GPS systems to monitor drivers and track vehicles

Requirements

• Experience in managing fleet
• Ability to take initiative and be flexible in a constantly changing work environment
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong knowledge of Excel/google sheets and ease with a variety of tech platforms and reporting.
• 2+ years of experience managing transportation operations.
• HND or Bachelor’s degree in social sciences or a related field
