Job Description
- We are looking for a Field Sales Manager to join our Sales team in Ikorodu, Lagos where progress, and humility are valued as highly as technical excellence.
- Handling responsibilities from managing client relationships as well as nurturing and mentoring field-based Sales Executives and Direct Sales Representatives to deliver and surpass set sales target, you will uphold the brand values of M-KOPA as a front-line employee, achieving sales targets to drive revenue growth for the organization.
Responsibilities

- You will recruit, train, coach, mentor & supervise a field-based team of Sales Executives (SE) and Direct Sales Representatives (DSR) to meet the set targets in line with M-KOPA business goals.
- You will monitor and deliver set sales targets within the designated territory.
- You will create initiatives to achieve and surpass sales targets of M-KOPA products by developing local networks.
- You will uphold the brand values of M-KOPA, including ensuring the M-KOPA retail point standard and guidelines are adhered to.
- You will monitor, evaluate, and support SEs and DSRs to meet the performance standards
- Managing SEs and DSR inventory, you will resolve audit recommendations in line with M-KOPA audit resolution guidelines
- You will design Sales and Marketing Strategy for the team to ensure Weekly, Monthly, and Quarterly sales targets are reached.
- You will monitor and analyze the performance of Marketing campaigns
- Report writing
Expertise
Our expectations are that your CV reflects a rich blend of technical expertise and practical experience, positioning you as a valuable asset as a Field Sales Manager such as:
- You are a B.Sc Holder or a Higher National Diploma Holder in any related field
- You have 3 years of Sales experience in FinTech Microfinance, Insurance, Telecommunications, Mobile-Money, FMCG, or other products/services in Nigeria.
- You have excellent sales and negotiation skills
- You have ability to motivate and lead a team.
- You have planning, Organization, and Conflict-resolution skills
- You have excellent Presentation, Communication, Coaching, and People Skills
- You are great at leading a wide array of people to perform.
- You have ability to work calmly under pressure.
- You have a process-oriented mindset.
