Hobark International Limited (HIL) is the parent company of the Hobark group operating in the oil and gas industry. The company was incorporated in 1998, starting as a staffing agency based in Port Harcourt. Currently we have offices in 4 countries with our head office in Lagos.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Piping Engineer

Location: Lagos

Job Description

• Responsible for production of deliverables, which may include engineering support on design calculations, specifications, procedures, analyses, progress reports, bid evaluations, CTR input, study reports and various contractor submissions.
• Be focal point / technical authority for piping and layout matters throughout all phases of engineering design, construction, installation, and commissioning.
• Must have strong appreciation and Ability to interpret Oil and Gas Facilities P&IDs and could generate relevant piping deliverables from the P&ID 12
• Highly Proficient in Piping Design using AUTOCADD, CADWOX 3D Models. Skills in Ceaser II will be an added advantage. A practical demonstration of hands-on experience in Piping Design will be required.

Requirements

• B. Sc in Mechanical Engineering or Equivalent, Minimum 9 - 14 years relevant experience with oil industry design contractor.
• Must have worked as a Piping /senior Piping engineer for an operator and have been involved in both onshore and offshore projects.
• Must be familiar with working in a multi-discipline environment.
• Experience with generating specifications /drawings and equipment’s requisition for pressure vessels, internals, and piping components.
