The Federal University of Health Sciences, Otukpo is a world-class specialized University that will train and produce high-quality healthcare professionals that will contribute to the development of the health sector in Nigeria, and the University will be equipped with state-of-the-art equipment for research and teaching. It will be the first of its kind to be established by the Federal Government after realizing that the number of healthcare professionals in the country is grossly inadequate for the populace.

Requirements
- The candidate must be a Reader or Senior Lecturer with a Ph.D. degree or its equivalence in relevant field and evidence of outstanding and continuing achievement/teaching experience in a University.
- Fifteen (15) publications in reputable international and national journals.
- Ability to supervise a minimum of one Masters or Ph.D. student.
- Registration with the relevant professional body is mandatory requirement.
- The candidate applying for the position of Associate Professor/Reader in the medical related field must possess MBBS plus the final of the fellowship of the National postgraduate Medical College Nigeria and its equivalent.
