Job Overview

• Wellness Healthcare Group is seeking an experienced and talented Backend Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in backend development with specific experience in e-commerce and/or healthcare applications. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the server-side logic, ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the frontend.

Key Responsibilities
API Development:

• Design, develop, and maintain APIs for e-commerce and healthcare applications.
• Ensure the scalability, reliability, and performance of all APIs.

Database Management:

• Design and manage robust database systems to store and retrieve data efficiently.
• Optimize database queries for performance and scalability.

Server-Side Logic:

• Implement server-side logic, ensuring high performance and responsiveness to frontend requests.
• Develop and maintain secure and scalable server-side applications.

Integration:

• Integrate various third-party services and APIs into the application.
• Work closely with frontend developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.

Security:

• Implement security and data protection measures.
• Ensure compliance with data protection regulations relevant to e-commerce and healthcare.

Testing and Debugging:

• Write unit tests and conduct regular testing to ensure the robustness of the application.
• Debug and resolve issues across the stack, including database, application, and server issues.

Collaboration:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including frontend developers, designers, and product managers, to deliver high-quality products.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to a collaborative and positive development environment.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of [3-5] years of backend development experience, with a focus on e-commerce and/or healthcare applications.

Skills:

• Proficiency in backend programming languages such as Node.js, Python, Java, PHP or Ruby.
• Strong understanding of RESTful API design and development.
• Experience with database systems such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
• Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git.
• Understanding of security principles and best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
