Job Title: Mechanical Maintenance Officer

Location: Onitsha, Anambra

Job Summary

• It is the duty of the Mechanical Maintenance Officer to ensure that all plants, machinery and equipment’s runs smoothly and reliably.

Job Description

• Planning and carrying out scheduled maintenance.
• Responding to emergencies
• Troubleshooting and Diagnosing Machine Faults and breakdowns.
• Repairing Equipment’s and Machines
• Keep records of Faults and repairs done regularly.
• Developing and implementing mechanical maintenance plans to prevent costly equipment breakdowns.
• Performing daily preventative maintenance
• Using pipe-fitting skills to weld, cut, fit and install piping throughout the facility
• Monitoring the availability of parts and replenishing supplies.
• Optimizing mechanical efficiency by adjusting machinery and equipment settings.
• Installation of Injection and Blow moulds.

Qualification & Experience

• Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree / HND qualification in Mechanical Engineering with 5 years & above experience in a Plastic Industry.

Key Competencies Required:

• Good job knowledge, team player, Good Communication skills, Endearing Behavior, Sound knowledge of troubleshooting, problem solving skill, Time management skill, etc.
