Job Title: Investment Analyst

Job Summary

• As an entry-level Investment Analyst, you will be part of a dynamic and growing team with an evolving mandate that fosters the growth of early-stage startups across various industries in the African digital technology ecosystem. You are expected to develop rigorous insights on multiple subjects, including commerce, media, education, health care, consumer finance, and financial inclusion. Your role would involve interacting with Angel investor communities, venture capitalists, business networks, and entrepreneur communities across Africa. The successful candidate will support the investment team in executing investment pipeline transactions, performing research and analysis, and providing administrative support to back-end operations.

Non-Negotiables

• Background in finance, business administration, economics, or a related field
• At least 3years of experience in investment banking, corporate finance, venture capital, private equity, or a related field.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
