Job Description

• E-Commerce Web Developer ensure that the online store is visually appealing, easy to navigate, and furnished with accurate, up-to-date content.

Responsibilities

• Inspect the landing pages, product information, checkout options, and all other pertinent website-related systems to ensure their visual appeal, accuracy, and ease of use.
• Assisting with decisions about promotions such as discounted offers and affordable bulk packages in relation to working of the website.
• Ensuring that payment options and promotional tabs are configured correctly.
• Collaborating with appropriate stakeholders to ensure the rollout of website changes.
• Monitoring website traffic and customer reviews to gauge responses to site updates.
• Teaming up with our Digital Marketing Personnel to increase the online presence of our website.
• Keep up to date on web developments and trends.
• Scheduling and communicating intensive site maintenance, as needed.
• Ensuring the user experience is seamless, professional and intuitive
• Integrate web sites with other software applications.
• Implement coded solutions from specification documents, in a variety of programming languages.

Desired Skills & Experience

• First Degree from a reputable higher institution
• A minimum of 4 years experience in a similar role
• Excellent skills in code writing
• Strong proficiency in developing web applications with HTML, CSS, HTL, and JavaScript
• Good understanding and experience integrating web / microservices architecture
• Experience in ecommerce and retail environment will be an added advantage
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong Micro excel skill
• A good team player
• Good interpersonal and people skills
• Good organizational Skill
• Ability to manage time and prioritize tasks
• Strong ability to pay attention to detail.
