Job Description

  • The Marketing and Sales Officer will be responsible for developing and implementing integrated marketing and sales strategies to promote pharmaceutical raw materials and drive revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive marketing and sales plans to promote pharmaceutical raw materials, targeting key customer segments and markets.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including lead generation, prospecting, and networking, to expand the company’s customer base and increase sales revenue.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions to meet their requirements.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, customer preferences, and competitive landscape, and use insights to refine marketing and sales strategies.
  • Coordinate sales activities, including customer meetings, presentations, and negotiations, to drive customer acquisition and achieve sales targets.
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of marketing and sales initiatives, track key metrics, and provide regular reports to management to assess effectiveness and optimize strategies.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or BSc/HND in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Proven experience in marketing and sales, preferably in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
  • Strong understanding of marketing and sales principles and techniques, including lead generation, and customer relationship management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and negotiate effectively.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive and results-driven mindset.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and CRM software/tools.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards related to pharmaceutical marketing and sales (preferred).
  • Ability and flexibility to travel on short notice.
