Description 

• We are looking for a proactive and experienced Supermarket Supervisor to lead our team of retail associates. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a passion for customer service, and a solid understanding of supermarket operations. You will be responsible for ensuring efficient store operations, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization, and fostering a positive work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Team Leadership:Supervise and motivate supermarket staff to achieve sales goals and provide excellent customer service.
• Operational Oversight:Monitor daily activities such as stocking shelves, inventory management, and cashier operations.
• Customer Service:Ensure customers receive prompt assistance and resolve any issues or complaints effectively.
• Training and Development:Train new employees on store procedures and product knowledge, and provide ongoing coaching to improve performance.
• Safety and Compliance:Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards.
• Reporting:Generate reports on store performance, sales trends, and inventory levels to management.
• Merchandising:Assist with product displays and promotions to optimize sales and enhance the shopping experience.

Qualifications

• Education: A university graduate or equivalent; additional education or training in retail management is a plus.
• Experience: Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in retail or supermarket management, with proven leadership abilities.

Skills:

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Knowledge of inventory management and retail operations.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite and POS systems.
• Attributes:Proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of working under pressure.
