Job Title: Procurement Specialist

Location: Victoria Island, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Role Overview

  • As a Procurement Specialist, you will play a key role in managing our procurement processes and ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services.
  • You will work closely with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to source high-quality products, negotiate contracts, and optimize our procurement strategies.

Job Functions / Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to meet the organization’s needs.
  • Source and evaluate suppliers, negotiate contracts, and maintain relationships.
  • Review purchase requisitions and ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to identify procurement needs and priorities.
  • Monitor supplier performance and resolve any issues or disputes.
  • Analyze market trends and identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Ensure timely delivery of goods and services and resolve any delivery issues.
  • Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices.

Requirements / Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in procurement or purchasing roles, preferably in a similar industry.
  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Professional certification in procurement or supply chain management is a plus.
