Job Overview

• We are seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Engineer who is proficient in modern front-end technologies and frameworks as well as back end database experience.
• The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of user experience, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for creating seamless and engaging user interfaces and workflows.
• You will be working closely with our product and design teams to build and enhance our sales talent web app.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the architecture of our sales talent web app.
• Collaborate with designers, product managers, and back-end engineers to implement new features and improve existing ones.
• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Write clean, maintainable, and reusable code including documentation
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Proven work experience as a Full stack developer or similar role.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern front-end frameworks (e.g.,node.js, React, Angular, Vue.js).
• Experience with databases e.g mongo DB
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and integration with back-end services.
• Strong and clear written and spoken communication skills
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent teamwork and delivery skills.
• Success consistently managing 3 or more AWS services over a 1 year + period
• Successful understanding and implementation of Agile methodologies in real world/work scenarios.
• Experience building, maintaining and deploying web and server side applications
• Demonstrate Significant contribution to two or more successful tech team(s) and/or project(s)
• An ability to set up, modify or extend CI/CD pipelines with one or more CI providers
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote work environment.
• Collaboration on one or more open source projects
• Experience building, maintaining and deploying mobile applications on either or both of iOS & Android platforms
• AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner at any level

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with TypeScript.
• Knowledge of CSS pre-processing platforms, such as SASS or LESS.
• Familiarity with build tools and task runners (e.g., Webpack, Gulp).
• Experience with responsive and adaptive design principles.
• Understanding of SEO principles.
• Prior experience working in a startup environment.
