Job Title: System Engineer

Location: Admilraty Lekki Phase 1, Lagos (Hybrid)
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• Performs a wide variety of installation, configuration, upgrading software
• Supporting software (monitoring solution, backup & recovery solutions), servers, and storage in various environment.
• Provide investigation, diagnostic testing and repair/software and other related infrastructure.
• Manage and monitor all installed systems and infrastructure
• Install, configure, test and maintain operating systems, application software and system management tools
• Proactively ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability
• Monitor and test application performance for potential bottlenecks, identify possible solutions, and work with developers to implement those fixes
• Maintain security, backup, and redundancy strategies
• Write and maintain custom scripts to increase system efficiency and lower the human intervention time on any tasks
• Participate in the design of information and operational support systems
• Manage and monitor all installed systems and infrastructure

Requirements

• A minimum of a B.Eng / B.Tech. in Electronics / Electrical / Mechanical / Computer Engineering, Information Technology or any related field.
• A Master’s Degree will be added advantage.
• Possession of ITIL certification.
• CISSP/ CISM, CompTIA Security, CEH, CCSA, CCSE or other equivalent certifications.
• A minimum of 5-7 years of related experience in infrastructure and cloud with record of accomplishment in this role.
• A minimum of 2-3 years of presales, implementation and post-sales experience
• Experience working in mixed Windows/Linux, database and virtualized/physical server environments.
• Project Management certification is a big plus
• Good understanding of System/Servers Administration, IT Service Delivery, Networking, IT Infrastructure.
• AGE : 35-45 years
