Job Title: MSH Bauchi Visibility Event Consultant

Performance Period: Between 27th July and 7th August, 2015
Reports to: To Country Representative, MSH Nigeria
Objective of the Consultancy
- To ensure participation of 20-22 stakeholder organizations at this MSH Roundtable discussion on maternal health in Bauchi.
- Participants must be from the Bauchi government, Donors and other IPs/CSOs working in Bauchi and the media.
- Send out invitations to participants and confirm attendance
- Ensure buy-in and ‘co-host’ role of the SMoH in Bauchi
- Ensure this activity is accepted and seen by the FP, RH/FH officer of Bauchi State as their activity with support from MSH
- Assist in securing venue of meeting preferably within the SMoH premises or a location suggested by the FP/MNCH/RH/ FH staff
Specific Responsibilities
Deliverables:
- Buy-in of MNCH lead in Bauchi for this activity
- Raise MSH profile in Bauchi among MNCH stakeholders
- Ensure 20-22 organizations present at roundtable event including 2 media organisations
- Submit Report on this activity
- Assist in local logistics for the success of this event
Qualifications
- Working knowledge of MNCH field in Bauchi
- Strong network of MNCH stakeholders in Bauchi
- Good report writing skills
- Good communication skills
