Job Title: French Teacher
Location: Lekki, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Key Responsibilities
- Teaching: Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging French lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Curriculum Development: Contribute to the development of the French curriculum and ensure it meets national standards.
- Assessment: Evaluate student performance through regular assessments, providing constructive feedback and setting achievable targets.
- Support: Offer additional support to students through one-on-one tutoring, extracurricular activities, and exam preparation.
- Collaboration: Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practices and develop innovative teaching strategies.
- Professional Development: Participate in ongoing professional development to stay abreast of the latest educational practices and language teaching methodologies.
Qualifications and Experience
- A relevant degree in French or a related field.
- Proven experience teaching French at the secondary level.
- Strong knowledge of the French curriculum and GCSE requirements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A passion for teaching and a commitment to student success.
