Job Title: Visa Officer
Location: Ikoyi, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Responsibilities
- Process visa applications for various destinations, ensuring the accuracy of travel documentation and compliance with immigration laws and processes
- Maintain effective communication with clients to gather required documentation, provide visa-related information and keep them updated on visa status
- Stay updated on evolving visa policies, entry requirements, and immigration trends for various countries
- Maintain good relationships and network with embassies and consulates to expedite visa processing when necessary
- Assist clients in understanding and completing visa application forms
- Support the business development and sales teams
- Proven work experience as a Visa Processing Officer with vast experience in work visas, tourist visas, visit visas and study visas
- Familiarity with visa application processes and requirements for various countries
- Excellent selling and negotiation skills
- Well-versed in various areas of travel (domestic/international, business/holidays, group/individual etc.)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in using relevant software and databases
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent with 3-4 years of experience in the related field.
- Experience in visa processing or immigration services.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
- Certification in visa processing or related areas is a plus. Membership in other related professional organisations will be an added advantage
