We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Maintenance Manager

Location: Lagos
Job Type: Full-time

Job Dimensions

  • To plan, organize and coordinate quality maintenance servicing of equipment and infrastructures at Network & Consumer sites. Coordinates all planned and unplanned maintenance activities.
  • Number of CODO stations: 363. Number of DODO stations: 151. Number of GT Installations: 24.               
  • Provide prompt and efficient maintenance services to Company’s Facilities and the Head Office Building.
  • Develop and manages maintenance strategies and yearly maintenance campaign.
  • Manage CAPEX (N1.6B / 1.3M Euro) & OPEX (N1.2B / 1M Euro)
  • Optimizes the controllable maintenance costs base through the use of defined KPI’s;
  • Prepares specifications, plan and administer Third Party Contracts and other maintenance contracts.
  • Maintains communication and relations as are necessary to report on the status of matters requiring action and to ensure that the corrective action is planned and undertaken.
  • Responsible for coaching of 25 staff, recruitment of maintenance staff, annual appraisals of staff, leaves, etc

Job Responsibilities

  • Ensure that maintenance activities are carried out in accordance with the company’s HSE norms and standards. 
  • Ensure full commitment to the organization's Golden Rules and the use of STOP Cards
  • Provide quality maintenance services to territories and network development, GT sites across the company to ensure utmost performance of equipment.
  • Organize and implement maintenance campaigns at cost effective manner.
  • Ensure that equipment is available at the point of need at most cost-effective rates and improve down time.
  • Evaluate and monitor the performance of Maintenance Engineers and Facility Maintenance Supervisors.
  • Evaluate and monitor the efficiency of registered contractors / service providers.
  • Organize regular training and workshop for the Engineers and Technicians.
  • Monitor and control maintenance budget and expenditure.
  • Ensure provision of timely and precise reports for management decision.

Accountability

  • Provide maintenance services covering Network, Residences, Facilities and VMS installations.
  • Ensure safety standards and norms are strictly adhere to.

Qualification / Experience 

  • HND or BSc in Mechanical / Electrical / Relevant Engineering Degree.
  • 10 years cognate experience.
