Technology for Social Change and Development Initiative is a non-profit organization founded in 2016. Tech4Dev was established to empower African communities with digital skills that will bridge the gap of unskilled labour needed for the future of work.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Instructional Design Associate

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full Time

Responsibilities

  • Support and manage facilitators’ engagement processes
  • Design and support all curriculum and course content creation
  • Design and develop interactive course components, such as guided practices, interactive activities, knowledge checks and assessments.
  • Ensure that all course materials designed by instructors/facilitators are in line with the program and Tech4Dev’s brand guidelines.
  • Support the recommendation of effective instructional strategies to enhance courses.
  • Independently execute instructional strategies from inception to development and deployment.
  • Provide end-to-end Instructional Design support on learning projects
  • Employ Instructional Design best practices in the execution of project deliverables which include document design, content outlines, performance support tools, and learning modules.
  • Support the identification and creation of media assets.
  • Ensure prompt communication of program status updates to other members of the team
  • Interact and communicate effectively using online collaboration and meeting tools.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in instructional design, e-learning development, or a related field.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Instructional Design / Education / Learning and Development, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of instructional design models (e.g., LMS).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Creative thinker with a passion for learning and development.
