Job Description

• Our client is looking for a seasoned QA/QC Officer to meet sets standard and assuring quality at all time to deliver customers’ expectations for its range of products.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for quality assurance functions and processes.
• To carry out monitoring and measurement of QUALITY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM processes and to ensure that product which does not conform to the product requirements is identified and controlled to prevent unintended use or delivery.
• Carry out on-line check of processes and in-coming raw material testing.
• Liaising with production department.
• Inspecting output samples using industry-appropriate methods, such as comparing to standards, measuring dimensions and examining functionality.
• Checking that the assembly or production line adheres to standards and procedures and complying with legal requirements.
• Recording inspection results by completing reports, summarizing re-works and wastes and inputting data into quality database.
• Proposing improvements to the production process.
• Keeping measurement equipment operating accurately by following calibration requirements and calling for repairs.
• Monitor operations to ensure that they meet production standards.
• Recommend adjustments to the assembly or production process.
• Inspect, test, or measure materials or products being produced.
• Remove all products and materials that fail to meet specifications.

Requirements

• B.Sc / HND or ND in relevant course from a reputable organization.
• Minimum of Three (3) Years experience in food manufacturing company.
• Report writing skills with good use of Microsoft Package.
• Good knowledge of Quality Management System (QMS).
• Proactive, analytical, highly observant, taking initiative and Problem solving
• Ability to provide detailed audit reports with relevant required preventive and corrective measures.
• Excellent communication skills both written, verbal communication, and Teamwork
• Shift work is required due to production schedules.
