Job Title: Marketing Manager

Location: Lagos

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies that align with the organization's business goals and objectives, focusing on promoting logistics services across land, air, and sea transport.
  • Conduct in-depth market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive positioning within the logistics industry.
  • Utilize insights to inform marketing strategies and campaigns that target key market segments.
  • Work closely with the business development team to ensure alignment of marketing strategies with business objectives.
  • Lead and mentor the marketing team, fostering a culture of creativity, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Enhance and manage organization’s brand identity, ensuring consistent messaging and positioning across all marketing channels.
  • Develop compelling marketing materials, including website content, brochures, presentations, and digital media.
  • Oversee the company's digital marketing efforts, including SEO, SEM, social media, email campaigns, and online advertising.
  • Leverage digital platforms to increase brand visibility, engage with target audiences, and generate leads.
  • Ensure content is relevant, engaging, and optimized for search engines.
  • Monitor and analyse the performance of marketing campaigns using key metrics and analytics tools.
  • Implement data-driven strategies to optimize marketing efforts and achieve measurable results, ensuring a strong return on investment.

Requirements

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field. A Master's Degree in Business Management or Marketing is an added advantage.
  • 5 years of work experience in a similar role within the logistics industry, with a strong understanding of logistics operations and market dynamics.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies that drive business growth and align with company objectives.
  • Experience in conducting market research and analysis to inform strategic marketing decisions.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing, including SEO, SEM, social media, email campaigns, and online advertising.
  • Excellent communication skills and experience in creating high-quality marketing content, including blogs, whitepapers, case studies, and newsletters.
  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office tools and relevant marketing software for performance measurement and campaign optimization.
