Job Title: Fufilment Officer

Location: Ikoyi, Lagos

Job Summary

  • The Fulfilment Officer is responsible for overseeing the order processing and shipment activities within our e-commerce operations.
  • This role ensures that all customer orders are picked, packed, and shipped accurately and on time. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, possess strong organisational skills, and have a passion for ensuring a seamless customer experience.

Responsibilities

  • Accurately process customer orders through the e-commerce platform.
  • Ensure all orders are picked, packed, and shipped promptly.
  • Coordinate with inventory management to maintain optimal stock levels.
  • Monitor inventory levels and report discrepancies.
  • Assist in regular stock counts and audits.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and update the system as needed.
  • Inspect products for quality and accuracy before shipment.
  • Ensure packaging meets company standards and protects products during transit.
  • Handle returns and exchanges, ensuring they are processed efficiently.
  • Liaise with courier services and logistics partners to ensure timely deliveries.
  • Track shipments and resolve any delivery issues.
  • Optimise shipping processes to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
  • Respond to customer inquiries regarding order status and shipping.
  • Resolve customer complaints and issues related to order fulfilment.
  • Provide support for special orders and bulk shipments.
  • Identify and implement process improvements within the fulfilment operations.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Support the Fulfilment Manager in daily operational tasks and projects.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's Degree in any or a related field is preferred.
  • Previous experience in fulfilment, warehouse operations, supply chain or e-commerce is highly desirable.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with inventory management software.
  • Physical ability to perform tasks that may require prolonged standing, lifting, and carrying of products.
