We have a vast experience in the outsourcing business as we currently manage resources for major clients in all sectors of the Nigerian economy. In addition, our prolific manpower cuts across the 36 states in Nigeria. After successfully gaining ground in all the 36 states of the federation, we are gradually spreading our tentacles to other African Nations. We are currently registered to also do business in Ghana. We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Commercial Sales Executive

Locations: Abuja (FCT), Lagos and Rivers
Employment Type: Full Time

Main Accountabilities

  • Support the organisation’s business units and network offices.
  • Achieving Sales Targets: Meeting or exceeding sales quotas and revenue targets set by the company.
  • Customer Acquisition: Identifying and acquiring new commercial clients to expand the customer base.
  • Client Relationship Management: Building and maintaining strong relationships with existing clients to encourage repeat business and customer loyalty.
  • Market Research: Staying informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitors to identify opportunities and threats.
  • Sales Strategy: Developing and implementing effective sales strategies and tactics to win new business and increase revenue.
  • Lead Generation: Generating leads through various methods such as cold calling, networking, referrals, and marketing efforts.
  • Sales Presentations: Delivering persuasive presentations and proposals to potential clients, showcasing how the company's offerings can meet their specific needs.
  • Negotiation: Negotiating pricing, terms, and contracts with clients to secure profitable deals.
  • Sales Reporting: Keeping detailed records of sales activities, tracking progress, and providing regular sales reports to management.
  • Customer Feedback: Gathering feedback from clients and using it to improve products, services, and the overall sales process.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborating with colleagues in marketing, customer support, and other departments to ensure a seamless customer experience.
  • Adaptability: Being adaptable and open to change, as market conditions and customer preferences may evolve over time.
  • Continuous Learning: Staying up-to-date with industry best practices, sales techniques, and product knowledge through training and professional development.
  • Ensure that key account activities for A & B customers are aligned with the agreed KPIs (reports sent on time and to quality by Operations).
  • Win, retain and develop strategic customers.
  • Plan and manage accounts.
  • Gather customers and market information to update business units on product and current trends.
  • Manage relationship with key customers as customer point of contact at country level.
  • Create and execute trade lane and sector focus commercial strategies for the company based on the USPs (Unique Selling Propositions) and core competencies of the organization.
  • Explore opportunities with existing customers for Upsell to increase the company’s share of wallet with customer and Cross sell to increase engagement with customers.
  • Ensure that all overseas and local RFI / RFP/ RFQ are sent on time by Pricing & Invoicing, and that Pricing & Invoicing gets the required support from respective BUs to put the pricing together.
  • Customer implementation to ensure proper operational handover and implementation to meet customer’s expectations (SLA’s & SOPs).

Job Specifications

  • Educational Qualification: HND / B.Sc in any field
  • Professional Qualification: Ideal but not mandatory
  • Work Experience: Minimum of 5 years’ relevant work experience as a sales personnel in the logistic industry. (Freight forwarding experience is a must)

Technical Competencies:

  • Proficiency in Import / Export procedure
  • Good knowledge of Customs practices and tariff classification
  • Good understanding of INCOTERMS
  • Basic ICT and applications skill
  • Comprehension of governments agencies procedures
