We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Kitchen Assistant

Location: Osapa London, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of meals by chopping vegetables, making salads, and putting together entrees.
• Ensure that food is properly stored and that kitchen and food storage areas are kept clean and organized.
• Wash, peel, and cut various foods, such as fruits and vegetables, to prepare for cooking or serving.
• Monitor food levels and report any shortages to the kitchen supervisor.
• Assist in maintaining inventory levels and placing orders for new stock.
• Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, utensils, dishes, or silverware.
• Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures.
• Assist with the unloading of deliveries and organizing of stock.
• Support chefs and other kitchen staff as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a kitchen or food preparation role is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of kitchen safety and sanitation standards.
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Physical stamina to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
