Job Description

• We are seeking a highly qualified and passionate mathematics teacher to join our team of educators. As a mathematics teacher, you are responsible for teaching mathematics to students dynamically and engagingly, creating a supportive learning environment, and assessing student progress.

Responsibilities

• Teach mathematics to students in a classroom setting, using a variety of teaching methods and materials to meet the needs of diverse learners
• Develop and implement lesson plans, assessments, and projects that align with curriculum standards and learning objectives
• Assess student progress and understanding, providing feedback and guidance to students and parents
• Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in mathematics education
• Communicate with parents and guardians to keep them informed of student progress and provide feedback on student performance
• Maintain accurate records of student grades, attendance, and progress

Education

• Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field
• Teaching/Educationcertificationin Mathematics preferred

Experience:

• 2+ years of experience teaching mathematics to students in a secondary school
• Experience teaching students with diverse learning needs and abilities
• Experience with curriculum development and implementation

Skills:

• Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field
• Strong knowledge of mathematics concepts and curriculum standards
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively with students of diverse backgrounds and learning styles
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities
• Familiarity with technology and educational software (e.g., learning management systems, educational apps)

Salary
N80,000 - N100,000 monthly.
