We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Internal Security Officer

Location: Warri, Delta

The Overview of Job

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for incident investigation, emergency response planning, directing and safeguarding company assets, patients, employees, visitors, and coordinating security activities in the assigned branch.

Job Description
What you will be doing:

  • Collaborate with executives and managers to align security projects with corporate requirements.
  • Develop and implement security policies, standards, and guidelines.
  • Monitor and protect facilities, personnel, and information systems.
  • Evaluate security breaches and recommend corrective actions.
  • Lead security incident response planning and execution.
  • Implement the Risk Assessment program and conduct security awareness training.
  • Assist in emergency management and contingency planning.
  • Oversee security operations and supervise security personnel.
  • Educate staff on security policies and ensure compliance.
  • Implement CCTV surveillance and access control systems.
  • Conduct security risk assessments and internal investigations.
  • Prepare security reports and budget estimates.
  • Develop preventive security programs and ensure security equipment functionality.
  • Resolve security-related problems.
  • Liaise with law enforcement, fire, and other agencies.
  • Comply with health and safety policies and statutory regulations.
  • Ensure a safe environment for patients, clients, and staff.

Qualifications
What we are looking for:

  • Graduate qualification (BSc / HND).
  • Certification in security management required.
  • Membership of ISPoN or other security institutes desirable.
  • 2-4 years of relevant experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Internet use.
  • Excellent communication and decision-making skills.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Good stress management and composure.
