Hobark International Limited (HIL) is the parent company of the Hobark group operating in the oil and gas industry. The company was incorporated in 1998, starting as a staffing agency based in Port Harcourt. Currently we have offices in 4 countries with our head office in Lagos.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Lead - Environment

Location: Lagos

Job Description

• The job holder will provide site-specific Environmental Management Plan protocol, such as spill contingency, effluent discharge, waste management, hazardous waste manifest and disposal, greenhouse gas emissions (GHG) reduction and reporting, environmental health and hygiene, environmental studies such as EIA, PIA, etc. Implement and enforce environmental policies and practices of the organization by ensuring compliance with environmental legislation.

Requirements

• First Degree or a higher National Diploma in Engineering, Environmental/ Sciences, or other related sciences. MSc in related field is an added advantage
• 10 years’ experience within an Oil and Gas industry reputable/ structured environment experience, 5 years must be at supervisory level.
• Must have NEBOSH and be very conversant with facilitating efforts to resolve interface issues and coordinate multipart HSE objectives.
• Professional membership in any of Nigerian Environmental Society (NES), ISPON, Nigerian Society of Engineers, etc.
• Certifications such as ISO 14001:2015 (Environmental Management System), ISO 26000 (Social Responsibility), Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment (IEMA), etc.
