Job Description

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute innovative menus that showcase your creativity and knowledge of global cuisine.
• Oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, ensuring efficiency, quality, and timely meal preparation.
• Manage a team of cooks and kitchen staff, providing training, motivation, and leadership.
• Maintain the highest standards for food quality, presentation, and hygiene, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
• Develop strong relationships with suppliers to source the freshest and finest local ingredients.
• Control food costs and minimize waste.
• Stay up-to-date on culinary trends and experiment with new recipes and techniques.
• Collaborate with the restaurant and service staff to ensure a seamless dining experience for guests.

Qualifications

• Culinary certificate is an added advantage
• Minimum of 4 years of experience as a chef or executive chef in a reputable hospitality establishment.
• Proven experience in menu development, kitchen management, and staff training.
• In-depth knowledge of culinary techniques, international cuisines, and food presentation.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Commitment to maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic work environment.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
