Our Company offers a portfolio of branded Laboratory products and a range of services including Training, Equipment & Instrumentation Servicing, Calibration Services, Laboratory Design and Upgrade, and Custom Manufacturing Services.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Sales Administrator

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

  • Respond to inquiries from customers and suppliers.
  • Ensure that a reasonable percentage of customer inquiries are converted into orders that will be profitable to the company.
  • Process all purchase orders that come from assigned customer accounts and send order confirmation with the expected date of delivery to ensure the items are delivered at the earliest possible times.
  • Monitor and generate sales from existing customers and achievement of agreed sales targets.
  • Ensure customers’ satisfaction by constantly updating them if there is a change in the delivery date of their item or some cases come up with a solution that will benefit the company and the customer if some items are rejected.
  • Establish and maintain relationships in line with ethical standards in focus with business customers.
  • Ensure prompt tracking and delivery of customer orders.
  • Cold Call customers and prospects to generate sales meetings.
  • Advise customers to ensure the right goods or products are ordered.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s degree in applied science is required.
  • A master’s degree in a related field is an added advantage.
  • 3-6 years cognate working experience in a Sales / Business Development role.

Specialized Knowledge:

  • Good Listening and Communication Skills
  • Ability to successfully set up meetings and perform cold calls.
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Proven effective judgment and reasoning.
  • Good working knowledge of ERP software(s)
  • Commercial acumen:
    • Ability to identify, quantify, and harness opportunities.
    • Be imaginative in finding solutions to issues, anticipating trends and opportunities, and pursuing opportunities for the business.
  • Good communication and administrative skills:
    • Ability to create focus with clear communication on ongoing activities to provide context.
  • Time management:
    • Ability to prioritize tasks based on importance & exigencies.
  • Demonstrate high integrity and build a great relationship with internal and external partners.
  • Solid customer service attitude and negotiation skills
