Job Title: Network Engineer

Job Description

• As a Network Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining, and supporting our growing network infrastructure.
• You will work closely with other IT professionals to ensure our network operates efficiently and securely, providing high-quality service to our clients and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement network solutions, including LAN, WAN, WLAN, and security.
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure network reliability and availability.
• Configure and install network devices such as routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
• Perform regular network maintenance and upgrades, including patches and firmware updates.
• Develop and maintain network documentation, including diagrams, configurations, and policies.
• Conduct network assessments and audits to identify areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with IT team members to integrate network solutions with other systems and applications.
• Provide technical support and guidance to users and other IT staff.
• Ensure network security by implementing and maintaining security measures and protocols.
• Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to recommend and implement innovative solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science / Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Network Engineer or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of network protocols, routing, switching, and security.
• Experience with network hardware and software, including Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, etc.
• Proficiency in network design and architecture.
• Familiarity with network monitoring and diagnostic tools.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent are a plus.
