Job Title: Senior Account Executive

Location: Ikeja, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Reports to: Head of Finance

Job Summary

  • Responsible for all financial aspects of the Organization.
  • To manage & prepare financial reports, and ensure that all financial transactions are conducted legally and ethically.

Major Duties / Responsibilities

  • Initiating Bank online Portal for payment Posted of vendors, custom duty, travel bills, Intercompany fund transfers
  • Preparing and submitting Daily Sales reports to Management
  • Preparing and submission of Daily Advance Sales report/Pending dispatches report
  • Submission of Daily report to Management
  • Reconciliation of Usance outstanding report
  • Reconciliation of Physical Inventory with Books
  • Recording daily payable/receivable transactions into ERP system
  • Reconciliation and analysis with vendor statements
  • Preparation of Monthly Financial Statementswith all required supporting annexes
  • Passing of Monthly provisional entries to ensure proper closure of books
  • Responsible for accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Reconciliation of With Holding Tax and remitting with concerned authorities
  • Ensure all monthly statutory payments like VAT, PAYE, and PENSION are remitted
  • Assisting in MIS, Adhoc reporting to Management
  • Reconciliation of Intercompany balances and submission of reports
  • EnsuringSettlement Of Travel Bills as per company policy

Knowledge, Skills and experience

  • Must be ICAN Certified
  • Minimum 7 years of experience
  • To interact frequently with other departments and participate fully in the day-to-day functioning of the business.
  • Communication
  • Critical Thinking Analysis of financial and MIS reports
  • Ability to identify deficient work and provide resolution
  • Multi-tasking
  • Good team member.
  • Focused and efficient in timely delivering desired outputs
  • Good at using Microsoft Excel
