We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Mechanical Engineer

Location: Gbagada, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop mechanical systems and components based on project specifications and requirements.
  • Conduct analysis and simulations to validate designs and ensure they meet performance, safety, and reliability standards.
  • Create detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and documentation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including electrical engineers, software engineers, and project managers, to integrate mechanical designs into overall systems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues during the design, prototyping, and production phases.
  • Perform testing and validation of prototypes and final products.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and company policies.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in mechanical engineering and relevant technologies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Mechanical Engineer or in a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and regulations

Skills:

  • Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license.
  • Experience with project management and leading engineering teams.
  • Experience in a specific industry relevant to the role (e.g., Elevators, Excavators etc.).
