Job Title: Sales Officer

Location: Abuja (FCT)

Job Description

  • The Sales Officer will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new sales opportunities, building relationships with potential clients, and closing sales to achieve company targets.
  • This role involves working closely with the Sales and Marketing Manager to execute sales strategies and meet business goals.
  • The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to customer acquisition and retention.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through various channels (e.g., cold calling, networking, and social media).
  • Build and maintain relationships with potential and existing clients.
  • Present and demonstrate company products to clients.
  • Negotiate sales contracts and agreements with customers.
  • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop and implement effective sales strategies.
  • Provide regular reports on sales activities and results.
  • Gather feedback from customers and relay it to the product development team.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activities.
  • Attend trade shows, conferences, and other industry events to represent the company.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Business / Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years sales experience in the furniture or interior design industry (compulsory).
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
