Hobark International Limited (HIL) is the parent company of the Hobark group operating in the oil and gas industry. The company was incorporated in 1998, starting as a staffing agency based in Port Harcourt. Currently we have offices in 4 countries with our head office in Lagos.

Job Title: Business Integrity Officer

Job Description

• To support the Corporate Business Integrity Manager in protecting the Integrity of the organization’ s business by ensuring that the company policies and procedures are effectively implemented to minimise business interruption or financial loss caused by corruption, fraud, unethical and misconduct and create and maintain a strong ethical culture in the organization.
• Review new and amended legislations and regulatory requirements to identify provisions that may impact the organization’s corporate governance and ethics programs and support in reviewing the impacted or potentially impacted policies in line with the new or amended legislations or policies.

Requirements

• A Degree or equivalent in Law, Economics, Business Administration, Public Administration, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of substantial professional experience in compliance and ethical related works, investigative work relating to fraud and corruption in public or private/corporate sectors.
• Certification in compliance and Ethics or related certification or professional membership of Corporate Governance body in Nigeria is an added advantage.
• Understanding of the modus operandi of corrupt entities (i.e., large, medium, and small companies, consultants, etc.) in a development or similar context and/or procurement, investment, corruption, collusion, bid rigging, coercion, and obstructive practices in the Organization’s sphere of operations.
• Understanding of unethical behaviours or professional misconduct, including extensive knowledge of Business Ethics and Compliance in a multinational company or organization.
