Job Description

• As a Construction Manager you will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing construction projects from inception to completion.
• Your expertise will ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and according to specifications.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of construction projects, including planning, coordinating, and supervising activities from initial design to completion.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project success.
• Prepare and review project proposals, bids, contracts, and budgets.
• Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to construction schedules and deadlines.
• Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure quality control and compliance with safety regulations.
• Resolve any issues that arise during construction and implement effective solutions.
• Maintain accurate records of construction activities, expenses, and materials.
• Provide technical advice and guidance to project teams and construction staff.
• Utilize engineering principles and practices to optimize construction processes and procedures.
• Ensure that all construction activities meet industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 Years experience as Construction manager.
• Proven experience as a Construction Engineer or similar role in construction projects.
• COREN status will be an added advantage.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and materials.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Commitment to safety and quality standards in construction practices.
