Role Description

• The role of a Finance Lead (Nigeria) is crucial in overseeing the financial operations and strategy of the company.
• The Finance Lead is responsible for managing financial reporting, creating financial statements, analyzing financial data, overseeing accounting operations, budgeting, forecasting, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
• They play a key role in providing financial insights and analysis to support decision-making, driving efficiency and profitability within the organization.
• Additionally, the Finance Lead (Nigeria) works closely with senior management to develop and implement financial policies and procedures Controller that align with the company's goals and objectives.
• Overall, the Finance lead plays a vital role in maintaining financial stability and driving sustainable growth for the business in Nigeria.

Skills & Experience

• Finance Degree, ACA or MBA highly valued.
• Total of 5-7 years of experience with minimum of 5 years’ experience in FMCG industry
• Tax & Treasury Policy Experience
• ERP Systems Experience
• Excellent IFRS accounting/reporting skills accompanied by strong analytical skills
• Strong understanding of implementing global accounting policy controls framework
• Strong fundamental business technical skills (including Excel and PowerPoint) and software applications (i.e., S4Hana) Strong financial and business acumen
• Experience in commercial finance within CPG or similar industry.
