A prominent player in the Nigerian industry, the company’s operations span across the downstream value chain i.e. Petroleum Product Storage, Haulage/Distribution and Retail Sales. Our primary products include Petrol (PMS), Diesel (AGO) and Kerosene (DPK).

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: LPG Supervisor

Description

  • Responsible for optimizing facility and equipment across Rainoil Gas Ijegun Depot, Gas installations, while minimizing equipment down time and ensuring strict adherence to safety standards.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the safe and efficient receipt, storage, handling, and dispatch of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) products at the depot.
  • Ensure strict adherence to all safety regulations and protocols as outlined by all regulatory bodies.
  • Lead and motivate the LPG team at the depot, providing coaching and ensuring they possess the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain operational procedures to optimize efficiency and minimize product loss.
  • Conduct regular inspections of equipment and facilities, initiating preventive maintenance plans as needed.
  • Manage and respond to emergencies in accordance with established protocols.
  • Prepare and submit reports on depot operations especially inventory levels to the LPG Operations Manager.
  • Drive proper housekeeping and service standards in all Gas Filling Plants to ensure compliance with look and feel standards.
  • Drive established Health & Safety practices and ensure enforcement at all Gas Filling Plants.
  • Ensure maintenance of updated database of all Gas equipment and facilities
  • Enforce preventive maintenance of all Gas storage / distribution equipment (including skid tanks, cylinders etc.) to prevent breakdowns and minimize downtime. Including equipment metering and calibration.
  • Ensure proper record keeping of maintenance operation and spend.
  • Identify, evaluate, and recommend optimal equipment and facilities for station operations.

Requirements

  • Minimum of Bachelor's Degree / HND in Engineering, Business Administration and/or related courses.
  • Minimum of Four (4) years' experience in a similar role.
  • Any relevant professional certification is an advantage.
