We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Control Room Operator

Location: Ibadan, Oyo
Employment Type: Full-time

The Purpose

• Monitor and control tank farm operations through an approved automated system

The Job

• Accept oil products into storage facilities in accordance with established procedures.
• Follow and adhere strictly to all Premium Edible Oil Product Limited (PEOPL) oil policies and procedures as well as those directed by the line manager
• Adhere to safety, environmental, and quality standards in accordance with rom oil policies
• Operates Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) computer workstation and monitoring of total pipeline and tank system operations
• Monitor pressures, and flows to ensure pipeline/pump integrity
• Recommends effective policy and procedural enhancements for departmental operations as necessary.
• Collect and document refined oil samples for the laboratory to perform routine laboratory tests
• Understand the company’s food safety policy, its objective, and the benefits of an improved food safety management system.

The Person Must

• Have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Possess interpersonal and stakeholder management abilities.
• Excellent turnaround time for equipment breakdown
• Adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices
• Possess critical thinking with good attention to detail, information, and people management skills.
• Knowledge of production software packages and MS Office proficiency

Qualification

• OND in any related field

Experience:

• Minimum requirement: 2 years’ cognate experience
• Added Advantage:  SCADA operation experience
