We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Bar Manager

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • Manage the daily operations of the bar, ensuring excellent customer service, high-quality drinks, and a welcoming atmosphere.
  • Lead and supervise bar staff, fostering a positive and productive team environment.
  • Drive sales growth, control costs, and maintain profitability.

Responsibilities

  • Inventory management and ordering
  • Staff scheduling, training, and development
  • Customer service and complaint resolution
  • Drink menu development and implementation
  • Cash handling and reconciliation
  • Compliance with laws and regulations (e.g., responsible alcohol service)
  • Maintaining a clean and safe environment
  • Analyzing sales data and making data-driven decisions
  • Collaborating with other departments (e.g., marketing, events)

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in bar management or a related field
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of mixology and drink preparation
  • Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and inventory management software
  • Certification in responsible alcohol service (e.g., TIPS)
