- The Corporate Finance Analyst will play a key role in supporting the financial strategy of the company.

Responsibilities
Financial Analysis:
- Analyze financial statements and performance metrics to provide insights and recommendations.
- Conduct financial modeling and scenario analysis to support strategic decision-making.
- Evaluate historical financial data to identify trends and variances.
- Analyze the financial impact of various business initiatives and decisions.
Budgeting and Forecasting:
- Assist in the preparation and management of the company’s annual budget.
- Develop financial forecasts and track performance against budgeted targets.
- Participate in quarterly and annual financial planning processes.
- Provide detailed variance analysis and explanations for deviations from budget.
Reporting:
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Present financial data and insights to senior management and other stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to track financial performance.
- Prepare ad-hoc financial reports and analyses as needed.
Investment Analysis:
- Evaluate potential investment opportunities and provide recommendations based on financial analysis.
- Conduct due diligence and financial analysis for mergers, acquisitions, and other strategic initiatives.
- Analyze the financial feasibility and ROI of capital projects and investments.
- Monitor and report on the performance of investments and capital expenditures.
Strategic Planning:
- Support the development and implementation of the company’s financial strategy.
- Provide analytical support for strategic projects and initiatives.
- Assist in the preparation of business plans and strategic documents.
- Conduct market and competitor analysis to inform strategic decision-making.
Risk Management:
- Identify and analyze financial risks and opportunities.
- Develop strategies to mitigate financial risks and capitalize on opportunities.
- Monitor financial markets and economic trends to anticipate potential impacts on the company.
- Ensure appropriate risk management strategies are in place for financial instruments and contracts.
Compliance and Controls:
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
- Assist in the development and implementation of financial controls and procedures.
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Maintain documentation and support for all financial transactions and reporting.
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Engage with various stakeholders, including banks, investors, and regulatory authorities.
- Provide financial insights and reports to support stakeholder decision-making.
- Maintain positive relationships with external partners and financial institutions.
- Represent the company in financial discussions and negotiations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in corporate finance or a related field within the logistics and supply chain environment.
- Membership to the any of the professional bodies ICAN, ACCA, CFA, CIMA.
- Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA), Finance, or a related field (desired).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proficiency in financial modeling techniques.
- Proficiency in financial databases or ERP systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex financial information clearly and concisely.
- Strong work ethic with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Knowledge of relevant financial regulations and tax laws is a strong plus.
- Strong understanding of logistics and supply chain industry dynamics is preferred.
