We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Accountant

Location: Warri, Delta
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

• The Accountant will be responsible for managing financial transactions, budgeting, and financial reporting to ensure the financial health and compliance of the institution.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other financial reports.
• Monitor accounts payable and receivable to ensure timely payment and invoicing.
• Prepare and review budget forecasts and financial projections.
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies, regulatory requirements, and internal control procedures.

Requirements

• Proven 2-3years of work experience as an Accountant or similar role, preferably in an educational or healthcare setting.
• Professional certification (e.g., ACCA, ICAN) is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and taxation.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
