Job Description
- We are looking for a motivated and passionate Project Engineering Intern to join our team
- This role is ideal for NYSC corps members and other individuals with a strong interest in solar energy and renewable energy technologies.
- The intern will assist in the design and development of solar energy systems, including photovoltaic (PV) panels, inverters, and mounting structures.
Key Responsibilities
Design and Development:
- Assist in the design and development of solar energy systems, including photovoltaic (PV) panels, inverters, and mounting structures.
- Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies to determine the best design solutions.
- Prepare technical drawings and specifications using engineering software and tools.
Technical Support:
- Provide technical support to project teams during the installation and commissioning of solar energy systems.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to solar energy systems.
- Prepare technical reports and documentation.
Project Coordination:
- Assist in the planning and coordination of solar energy projects.
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure successful implementation and delivery of projects.
- Monitor project progress and provide updates to stakeholders.
Problem Solving and Analysis:
- Analyze system performance data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Develop and implement solutions to enhance system efficiency and reliability.
- Address technical challenges and ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
Communication and Collaboration:
- Communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
- Foster strong relationships with clients to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.
Travel:
- Willingness to travel to various project sites and client locations as needed.
Qualifications
Education:
- Degree / HND in Electrical Engineering / Renewable Energy / Mechanical Engineering / Civil Engineering / Agricultural Engineering / Physics, or related discipline.
Skills and Competencies:
- Strong interest in solar energy and renewable energy technologies.
- Basic understanding of electrical systems, power generation, and energy storage.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
