Job Title: Assistant Event Producer

Job Description

• Our client is looking to hire an Assistant Event Producer who will be responsible for providing support to the Event Coordinator in planning and executing events.
• This includes a wide range of activities, such as coordinating vendors, organizing logistics, managing budgets, and communicating with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate in conceptualizing and planning events.
• Source and liaise with event vendors, negotiate contracts and manage vendor relationships.
• Oversee event logistics, including venue selection, setup, and teardown.
• Develop event budgets and track expenses.
• Maintain regular communication with clients to update them, address concerns, and obtain necessary approvals.
• On-site event co-ordination.
• Coordinate guest registration to create a seamless experience.
• Develop and manage event timeline.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, design, and technical support, to ensure all event components align with the overall vision.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or HND in Mass Communication, Event Management, Hospitality, Project Management or a related field (preferred).
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in event planning or coordination.

Must have skills:

• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficiency in event planning and software tools.
• Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing circumstances.
• Creative problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Flexibility to work long hours, and travel as required for events.
