Job Title: Account Officer

Location: Amuwo Odofin, Lagos

Job Description

• We are looking for a diligent and detail-oriented Account Officer to join our finance team.
• The successful candidate will be responsible for managing financial transactions, ensuring accuracy in accounting processes, and providing support to the finance department.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
• Process invoices, payments, and receipts in a timely manner.
• Reconcile bank statements and manage general ledger entries.
• Assist in the preparation of financial reports and statements.
• Handle accounts payable and receivable activities.
• Support the finance team in budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Assist with internal and external audits.
• Address and resolve accounting discrepancies and issues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree / HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
• 3-5 years experience as an Account Officer, Accountant, or similar role.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) and MS Office, particularly Excel.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Salary
N150,000 - N160,000 / month.
