Job Summary

  • Our client is a luxurious hospitality brand looking to hire a Sales Manager who will network with potential clients, maintain a loyal customer base and oversee sales strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Develop action plans and set objectives for increased revenue and maximum profit.
  • Responsible for Apartment, spa and restaurant sales.
  • Identify new markets and business opportunities and increase sales.
  • Represent the company at various events and exhibitions.
  • Conduct daily sales calls and arrange site inspection
  • Provide quick and timely responses, and immediate communication to the guests, and develop professional long-term business relationships.
  • Work closely with the Director of Finance to ensure proposed rate negotiations meet the financial needs of the property.
  • Develop strong relationships with the property front office team to ensure working in unity and always striving to achieve the same goals.
  • Build and strengthen relationships with existing and new customers to enable future bookings.
  • Manage and develop relationships with key internal and external stakeholders. Acquiring and developing new business accounts and preparing sales proposals for clients.
  • Closely following up on all business leads within a 24-hour response timeline to clients.
  • Design and advertise special group rates and packages to increase larger bookings.
  • Analyze the current client base or target market for the property.
  • Devise new ways to expand that client base
  • Develop promotional and advertising materials for the property.
  • Oversee distribution of marketing materials.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • First Degree or Postgraduate in any related field
  • 3-5years of experience working as a Sales Manager or Senior Sales Officer or a related role within the hospitality industry
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Deep knowledge of the hospitality industry
  • Working knowledge of front office software.
  • Empathy towards your customers and colleagues.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Polished personal presentation with a warm, confident and hospitable personality.
  • Superior written and oral communication skills
  • A strong knowledge about the facilities and policies of the hotel
  • Excellent organisational and time management.

Salary 
N400,000 - N500,000 monthly.
