Job Title: Driver / Aircraft Attendant

Location: Ikeja, Lagos

Job Summary

  • We are seeking a reliable and experienced Driver to join our team.
  • The Driver will be responsible for safely transporting goods, equipment, and personnel to various destinations, ensuring the timely delivery of items and maintaining the company's vehicles in good working condition.
  • This role is crucial in supporting our operations and ensuring the efficient flow of materials and personnel.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely operate company vehicles, including cars, trucks, or vans, in compliance with all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Cleaning the interior and exterior of designated aircraft, With other services we render.
  • Perform routine inspections of vehicles to assess their condition and report any maintenance or repair needs promptly.
  • Maintain accurate records of mileage, trip logs, and fuel consumption.
  • Adhere to scheduled routes and adapt to alternate routes when necessary due to traffic or road conditions.
  • Assist with loading and unloading of goods, ensuring proper handling and securing of items.
  • Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients and colleagues.
  • Ensure the cleanliness and tidiness of company vehicles, both inside and outside.
  • Comply with all safety guidelines and procedures in the Aviation sector, and also the proper use of safety equipment.
  • Communicate effectively with the transportation coordinator to update on deliveries, delays, or other issues.

Requirements for the Role

  • Valid driver's license for the class of vehicle(s) being operated.
  • Proven experience as a Driver, preferably in a commercial or corporate setting.
  • A clean driving record with no major traffic violations.
  • Knowledge of local and regional road networks and traffic laws.
  • Strong sense of responsibility and commitment to safety.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Physical fitness to work.
  • Flexibility to work outside of regular business hours if needed.
  • Attention to detail and a strong focus on vehicle maintenance.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Minimum educational qualification: NCE/ND/SSCE
  • Driving experience is necessary and must possess a valid driving license
  • Mechanical knowledge and aptitude are an added advantage
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a professional manner
  • Time management.
